Welcome to Booktique

If you have been to Merimbula on the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia, you will know what a beautiful place we work in.  Our shop door is 8 metres from Merimbula Lake, just off the Boardwalk.  We sell new books with a strong focus on literary fiction (particularly Australian authors), art and architecture, and cooking.  We also have an extensive range of children's books, and our staff are knowledgeable in all aspects of our business and indeed the book world in general.

Booktique is also a cafe and chocolaterie; browse the shelves while you wait for a takeaway, or sit in and enjoy our range of gluten-free cakes and cookies, or gourmet Chocolatier chocolates - the perfect opportunity for an indulgent, decadent experience. 

So what sets us apart from our competition?  We read the books we sell.  And we are as passionate about our coffee as we are about our books.
